Hazardous materials that are transported may be involved in accidents, highway collisions, or waterway mishaps and present serious problems.

HAZMATICS™ solution is designed to allow the relevant stakeholders to have complete visibility into every single aspect like load status and location of trailers to ensure the tons of LPG cargo are away from densely populated areas or other known hazardous areas.

The HAZMATICS™ solution not only protects the population from any mishaps, it also protects the tanker trucks and their respective fuel cargoes, or fueling stations from "cocktailing", the mishap of mixing different fuels into the wrong storage tanks whether accidentally done or deliberately conducted in a malicious act. The tanker truck's cabin is equipped with a TSI AVL75 (GPS, communication module, lock controller), and each hatch and valve is secured with an electronic lock.

When a tanker is fully loaded, the location parameters are defined in which the vehicle is supposed to visit. After the system is set, the Electronic Locks and AVL75 begin to routinely communicate with the driver and control centre, reporting any activity involving the hatches, valves, and seals, as well as the status of the truck, for complete monitoring and security.

If the truck enters an unauthorized zone, a densely populated area or seals are opened or tampered in an unauthorized location, the control centre will receive an alert and will be able to readily decide on the course of action to take. The system determines whether a location is authorized by referencing the parameters that were established by the owner before the truck left the loading terminal. Upon arrival at the station where the tank is unloaded, the correct lock will be opened automatically.

By providing reliable and easily-applied electronic locking seals on all outlets, the system allows tanker owners to take immediate action in upgrading their security measures.
